THE SOUTH, USA

The highlights of this day were learning the origins of gospel, jazz and blues.  Campers learned  about the lives and the impact on society of B.B. King, Mahalia Jackson and Louis Armstrong. They also learned songs representing the blues, gospel and jazz, dance movement and history of Stepping, preparing, cooking and eating corn bread and rice pudding.  Oops, I got so involved I forgot to take pictures most of the day.
