WELCOME!

To the  African American Culture and Traditions (AACT) Program

I am extremely delighted to start the first African American Culture and Traditions Family Program in the San Fernando Valley of
Los Angeles, CA and it's my hope that you wish to be a part of it.

Our Mission: To bring together people to celebrate the culture and traditions of American people descended from the continent of Africa either directly or survivors of the captured people; reflecting their art, song, music, dance, stories, food, as well as celebrating individuals, also descended from Africa, who have positively impacted the American society.

The AACT Program is divided into three parts.   The first is the Summer Camp which had it's kick off in the Summer of 2013.  The second part of the program is Kwanzaa happening in December and the third part of the program is the Harambe Gala which kicks off mid April as a fundraiser consisting of a luncheon, entertainment, awards presentation and keynote speaker.  Feel free to be a part of all or just one, two or all three parts of our program.  We look forward to seeing you.
